I am the Marketing Executive of a company called "Target, Pest Control". The company specializes in rodent and pest controls in Singapore. Due to the well-built environment conditions, concerns or the need for pest control is usually limited to small-sized pests like rats, insects, or snakes most of the time. In other countries, rodents or pests can be as large-sized animals which include mammals as well as there is more room for wildlife.
Our goal is to provide efficient and immediate removal of rodent and pests which pose as a problem for residents. We have specialists in our company and we ensure our customers that the process of removal would be fast and clean, without leaving behind any traces or imposing other problems like cleaning up or follow-up issues for them. In this market, customers value efficiency and professionalism and hence we use that as our selling point as well.

The objectives of having a business card is to:
1. Introduce myself
2. Communicate effectively what "Target, Pest Control" has to offer to card receiver
Usage of symbols:
1. Iconic - Rodent used is an iconic representation of a real rodent
2. Symbolic - red target image is symbolic of the act of "targeting" a target. A few red circles combined together, by convention and based on cultural norms, is the focal point of a "target".
3. Indexical - Pointing the red target at the rodent communicates one message: the rodent is the target and the symbolic red circles point towards the action that comes after which involves eliminating the rodent.
Iconic, symbolic and indexical symbols interact with one another to communicate the right message. The company "targets" on rodents and effectively eliminates it for you, so employ our services NOW if you want such an action to be taken.
The card is simple, non-decorative to deliver its industrial context. Minimal images are used to be practical and deliver a clear message.
